IT Governance launches ISO 27001 classroom training courses in Ireland

17/01/2018

IT Governance, the leading global provider of cyber security, risk management and ISO 27001 expertise, is excited to announce the launch of its popular ISO 27001 classroom training courses in Ireland.

ISO 27001 is the best-practice standard for an information security management system (ISMS). The Standard encompasses people, processes and technology – the three pillars of an organisation’s robust information security posture.

Having led ISO 27001 implementations since the inception of the Standard, IT Governance is known as the global authority on ISO 27001, and has trained more than 7,000 people on ISO 27001 implementations and audits.

Now, for the first time, IT Governance’s ISO 27001 Foundation, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor classroom training courses will be held in Dublin and Cork.
The courses have been designed to equip attendees with the knowledge and skills required to plan, implement, maintain and audit a best-practice ISMS in their organisation.

Alan Calder, the founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, says: “We pride ourselves on our ability to serve an international customer base and deliver a broad range of integrated, high-quality solutions globally, while meeting the real-world needs of today's organisations, directors and practitioners.

“Our high-quality training courses have been designed to equip those at the forefront of data security with the specialist knowledge and skills to implement controls for the prevention of data breaches.”

IT Governance can also support organisations implementing ISO 27001 with a blend of tried and tested resources, such as books, toolkits, software, consultancy, penetration testing and DIY packaged solutions.
