E-book FAQs

How do I access my e-book?

After you have completed your purchase, you will receive two emails: one containing your sales receipt and one containing instructions and a link to your download.

These automated emails are sent immediately after purchase. If you have not received these emails within two hours, please check your junk/spam folder. If the emails are not in junk/spam, email us with a note of your order number.

You can also access your downloads via the downloads page in your My Account area.

Which file format is right for me?

For a computer

If you only expect to read your e-book on a computer (not on a phone or tablet) then you should choose PDF format where available, or Adobe eBook.

For a phone, tablet or e-reader device

ePub is designed for reading on smaller screens as the content is reflowable. If you have a smart phone, tablet or an e-book reader device, then you should choose ePub format and download your preferred reading app.

For Kindle

If you have a Kindle or wish to read your e-book using the Kindle app on your desktop or another device, choose Kindle format.

Can I print or share my e-book?

You are able to print your e-book once. Please check your printer has sufficient ink and paper before printing.

If you have set up an Adobe ID to access a DRM-protected e-book, you have access to your Adobe eBook on up to six different devices, but you must authorise these devices with the same Adobe ID.

Under our copyright terms and conditions, you are not permitted to share your e-book. We have anti-piracy scanning solutions in place to notify us if this occurs, and take down notices will be served to those infringing copyright, with further legal action taken if necessary.
