Appointing an EU GDPR representative

The EU GDPR Representative Service

We will serve as your EU representative, in compliance with Article 27 of the EU GDPR. IT Governance Europe is incorporated and based in the Republic of Ireland.

We will:

• Act as a local point of contact for data subjects and supervisory authorities on all matters relating to the processing of personal data;
• Hold and maintain a record of your processing activities in accordance with Article 30 of the EU GDPR and, on request, make the record available to relevant supervisory authorities;
• Facilitate communications between your organisation and data subjects;
• Facilitate communications between your organisation and supervisory authorities; and
• Co-operate with supervisory authorities on your behalf where required.

Conditions

This service applies to single-entity organisations with between 1 and 500 staff. The service can be delivered to organisations in any sector or industry. For organisations with more than 500 employees or multiple entities, we can provide a bespoke solution to meet your requirements.

Please note that this service does not include advice or guidance on Article 30 records of processing activities.
