Over the last quarter, professional job vacancies in Ireland have increased by 1.8%, according to a report by recruitment agency Morgan McKinley Ireland. The report also stated that there has been an 8.9% reduction in the number of professionals seeking new roles.
Naturally, as demand continues to grow while supply dwindles, it becomes more challenging to hire skilled staff. As Morgan McKinley mentioned in its 2018 Ireland Salary Guide, individuals with skills in high demand, including cyber security IT experts, chief security officers and product counsel, can command wage hikes of 10-15%
At IT Governance Europe, we believe that an ISO 27001 qualification is something that every cyber security professional should have. As such, we’ve brought our ISO 27001 courses to Ireland for the first time.
These courses have been designed to teach attendees the skills required to plan, implement, maintain and audit a best-practice information security management system (ISMS) in their organisation.
